I believe the wild turkeys (there are ten in the flotilla that currently inhabits our end of the road) are actually eating some slugs this year. That would be good, since they've turned parts of the flower beds into turkey wallows. I would be happy if they ate a few slugs while lounging on top of what used to be our perennials!Gwen Diehnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11743473885281285913noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2059701874209524702.post-80813055540277117972014-08-11T13:53:43.561-07:002014-08-11T13:53:43.561-07:00This is gorgeous, Gwen - and I am a great fan of y...This is gorgeous, Gwen - and I am a great fan of your journals. I love the lacy Kale - I have a variety that is meant to look look that; It is called 'Fizz' and I let it run to flower (lovely white multiple heads) and it looks good enough for the flower border. It's now been devoured by all the caterpillars in the world, and I had let it set seed so as to grow some more next year.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2059701874209524702.post-34427011074391587072014-08-11T09:47:49.616-07:002014-08-11T09:47:49.616-07:00Some of us are time-challenged, you are garden-cha...Some of us are time-challenged, you are garden-challenged.
